Hello Dr Lam!

dr anna lam from san diego oakland vision center

Dr. Anna Lam O.D. grew up in San Diego, California but now calls San Francisco home. Call it fate. Maybe call it six-degrees of separation - Dr. Lam landed a job at OVC because her boyfriend needed to get his hair cut. His sister referred him to her hair dresser who happens to be Dr. Gill's hair person. The connection was made and the rest is well, history.

After graduating from the University of California, San Diego with a bachelor’s degree in human biology, Dr. Lam went on to earn her doctorate of optometry at the New England College of Optometry in Boston, MA.

Her clinical experience includes ocular disease and low vision rehabilitation at VA Central California, pediatrics and primary care at Codman Square Health Center in Boston, and specialty contact lenses with Dr. Richlin & Associates in Beverly Hills.

When she is not in the office, Dr. Lam enjoys spending time with loved ones, hiking, and finding the "perfect" cup of coffee in San Francisco. Also, don't ever get in a foot race with her as she's a runner. Her bucket list item is to run a half marathon in every single state. So far she's got 4 under her running belt.

Dr. Lam is excited for the opportunity to be your eye care provider and is dedicated to providing you with the best care!
