Hold On to What You Love. We hold onto our l.a.Eyeworks.

l.a.Eyeworks began on September 9, 1979 when high school BFFs Barbara McReynolds and Gai Gherardi opened their shop on Melrose Avenue in Los Angeles, California. Trained as opticians and armed with the entrepreneurial spirit, these #girlbosses wanted to start a new kind of conversation about eyeglasses.

And they did!

Iconically known for that nubby circle at the end of each eyeglass arm, l.a.Eyeworks is a worldwide fashion phenomenon. Elton John probably owns hundreds of pairs of l.a.Eyeworks. I own a couple, lol.

I love l.a.Eyeworks because their narrative is snarky, never-say-never, creative and addicted to color. Meet some of our favorites pieces. They've been waiting to meet you.

HOWDY GARZA!

GARZA by l.a.Eyeworks. The paparazzi police can't stop the endless compliments and attention she gets. Her favorite drink is a cold, ginger infused Kombucha.

DATE SHAKE by l.a.Eyeworks. Just super friendly and knows exactly what she wants. You're either gonna love her or hate her. She must be a Scorpio.

GREETINGS VAPORETTO!

VAPORETTO by l.a.Eyeworks. On the surface, she's looks like a total #selfieaddict, but she's actually just the perfect mix of brains and persistence. Level #1,065 on Candy Crush. Word.

BONJOUR GOTTLIEB!

GOTTLIEB by l.a.Eyeworks.jpg

GOTTLIEB by l.a.Eyeworks. Cover of a magazine? Been there. Finish reading all of the Game of Thrones books? Done that. Never say never? Live it. The hardest worker we know? Definitely.

Stop by sometime and meet our cast of characters. You might just fall in love.

Love and 👓,

Dr. Tanya Gill
