Our first post is dedicated to downtown Oakland.
Oakland Vision Center has been at 1960 Broadway for over 30 years now. I started working here in 2005, and have really seen it change for the better. We are so lucky to have fabulous restaurants now: Duende, Flora, Plum, Ozumo, Mua, Pecan . . . And of course the beautifully renovated Fox Theatre across the street.
Anyone who has been to Oakland Vision Center, knows that I love art and have been collecting it for years. I have a couple pieces from Slate Art Gallery and had them framed at Kuhl Frames + Art . . . all within walking distance of the office.
We are blessed with such a diverse, kind and open-minded population. My patients are really the best people I know, and I love helping them by solving their vision needs.
I look around and I see that the downtown area really is under construction. I look forward to the new businesses and positive energy moving into our district.
